Good morning all! A year before Marlon got sick, he was sleeping 4 hours a night. Lack of sleep has been linked to chronic illness, and research shows that sleeping less than 5 hours a night increases death from all causes by 15%. This pic was taken when Marlon went to Hippocrates Institute for 3 weeks where he not only learned to be vegan but sleep 8 hours! I whole heartedly believe our holistic approach extended his life by months. I try to sleep 7 to 8 hours a night because of what I have learned. I am more respectful of sleep these days because I know first hand that the lack of it changes my outlook, my perception, my mood and alters my ability to be the best mom And dad that I can be.
