Nutrition is Everything

When Marlon was given 2 weeks to live after being put through chemo hell, I turned to nutrition to help our family gain some extra time. With the little bit that I taught myself – that decision extended his life by 5 months. Nutrition did what Doctor’s said we couldn’t do! Those 5 months may not seem like a big deal, but it allowed us to resolve matters of the heart – and make peace with what was about to shake us to the core. Those 5 months gave us something that no amount of money in the world could ever buy – it allowed us to find peace. I live my life today in memory of my husband, but I honor his life by continuing to be an obedient and faithful student. Today was my first day at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and I am so freakin’ excited! I left my very secure job for this very reason, because God is calling me to use my pain to teach others….and to teach others, I have to continue learning! I pray that one day I can travel NY, then the country and eventually the world empowering women to take charge of their health and live a more balanced life by teaching them my simple method of self-care.

A note to my hubby: I love you Marlon. My life will never be the same without you – but without a doubt it is a wonderful different. Thank you for continuing to be my guiding light.
