From the Inside Out – Trust in the Lord

John-Marlon was able to make peace with his inevitable death because he had peace that surpassed any understanding, and that my friends cannot be bought, or learned by reading a book, it comes directly from the man upstairs.

In hindsight, if John-Marlon and I had found a church like ours earlier in our marriage, we would have overcome so many obstacles that we tried and sadly failed at fixing alone.

If it wasn’t for my church, I wouldn’t be able to share and write the lessons I have learned in my journey. I don’t even want to imagine where I would be without this foundation. It actually scares me to think about it.
I need to give credit where credit is due- thank you Pastor Dan and my family at The Bridge Church!

Lyrics to one of my most favorite church songs – link below:
If you’re up at this time, listen to it….you may just need it – just like I just did:)

In my heart and my soul
Lord I give You control
Consume me from the inside out,
Lord, let justice and praise
Become my embrace
To love you from the inside out.

Your will above all else
My purpose remains
The art of losing myself
In bringing You praise
Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending
Your glory goes beyond all fame

And the cry of my heart
Is to bring You praise
From the inside out
Lord my soul cries out
